I agree with the movie night at home, that's probably what me and the boyfriend are doing. I would have gone out to buy stuff and make him a basket or something but moneys kinda tight with a baby on the way! I told him I didn't know if I could afford anything and he said "You already giving me the best present, my lil monkey in June is my present for vday my bday and Christmas all in one" sweetest thing ever
We don't really celebrate Valentines day, but my daughter is 5 and wants to do something. So we are celebrating tonight, but my husband won't know until he gets home from work. Lol my daughter made him a card and we are going to make him dinner and heart shaped cookies. I hope enjoys it since we said we weren't going to do anything.
I'm planting a v-day gift for my husband in his work vehicle so he finds it before work, making him a special dinner, just little things. It's hard to go out and do anything extravagant with a newborn, my LO is only 4 weeks so we're staying in and having a movie date night at home! :)
You could rub your babes back and cook him a nice meal and maybe get him something that will remind him of his family like a framed photo of you and baby or a ring
