Walking a crazy dog!

I have an Australian Shepherd and he's 70lbs. He pulls on the leash like crazy and I feel like I'm being drug everywhere! Now I know I'm not supposed to lift heavy things while pregnant, is this just as bad? (I'm 7 weeks 4 days)

A good way to make a dog not pull on you is to not pay any attention to the dog and make the dog relax before even leaving the house. If you don't even look at the dog, then they can feel that you aren't giving them the power.

I have tried that. I try to act like I'm minding my own business. It's his first week at the apartment so everything is new and he's always has more energy than normal.

I have an Australian shepherd too she's the same way. Try putting a harness on him and put him on a short leash that way you'll have better control

I don't have a harness but I have been keeping him close. I still would like to know if the pulling is bad for the baby. I'm concerned.

I have a pinch collar on my 100+ pounds mastiffs. It helps a ton!! They are not cruel either and don't hurt the dog at all.

My dog tries to pull on me too and that's where the pinch comes in handy. It shouldn't be a problem tho and my dog puking hasn't caused any problems to baby but you certainly want to get it under control.
