Water parks

I am 18 weeks and still not showing at all. Would it be harmful to the baby to get on a few water rides at a water park?

Just cause you aren't showing doesn't mean you arent pregnant it's common sense not to get on anything or do anything that can put your baby in danger. But either way it's your choice.

Agree with the comments above. I went to a water park & carnival they told me even if you're in early pregnancy or late pregnancy I couldn't get on anything pregnant. They even had a kiddie ferris wheel that went so slow they had signs up that said no so I just walked around gt my feet wet & ate & looked pretty ole well Its just temporary.

My dr says anything like a water slide is bad because it can shoot water up your vagina and cause harm and bacteria in your uterus... might have enough force to ruin your mucus plug etc...but simple swimming is ok

I work in the theme park/water park industry. They do not recommend the rides and slides for pregnant women for safety purposes. I just went to one of the water parks with my family a couple of weeks ago, and I was over 35 weeks pregnant. I spent the day drifting down the lazy river and wading in the wave pool, while my husband and son did the slides. As much as I love the slides, I know it is not best for my baby and I rather enjoyed a nice relaxing day without standing in lines. Go have fun, but understand the limitations are for the welfare of you and your baby.

All the water parks I've been too have signs that say no pregnant women on the slides. You can go in the wave pools etc just not on slides.

Idk you should call the drs office and see what the nurses say. If you can't get a response then I would just avoid getting on the rides. Better safe than sorry :-/
