Is riding on a jet ski or water rides at an amusement park safe to go on?

It's not safe and water park places won't let you on anything if you're pregnant, no matter how early in pregnancy. The beginning of pregnancy is most risky anyways. Yeah, it ***** your family is going on vacation and you won't be able to do most things. BUT, you got a baby to think about first. Once that baby is in your arms, it will all be worth it.

When you exercise, you are controlling your own actions. If you feel tired or sick, you can stop. If your on a waterside, you can flip or move the wrong way & land the wrong way. If your in a jet ski that is going thru the water fast, you could flip off or something. Theres nothing protecting your belly while you fly thru the water. Most places went let you on the water rides because of liability issues. And if you have to question if something is risky or not during your pregnancy, then why take the risk & do it.

Ad I'm not disagreeing with you my question would be why is jet skiing or water rides any different than exercise. When my dr said no restrictions she said I could still do p90x or insanity meaning hardcore workouts and jumping Jacks running etc. I was concerned at first but I did my workouts like I normally did until I was 20 weeks and then I moved towns and lost touch with my dvds but I still ran up until it got extremely hot outside

I'm 25 wks now but I will be 7months when my family takes a road trip and goes to a couple amusement parks. Looks like I'll stay at the campground with the pup instead! Anything else I should NOT do?

No. Even if your in the beginning of your pregnancy & not showing, it isnt safe. Lifting objects is different than the way your body gets bumped around on rides or on a jet ski.

It just depends on how far along you are...as in if u just found out and ur like 4 weeks or so then it's fine. My dr told me I had absolutely zero restrictions until I hit about 30 weeks then the amount of stuff I could lift changed to a limit of 20 pounds. Now being 36 weeks I'm not supposed to lift more than a gallon of milk.

Most water amusement parks will not allow you to ride or slide on anything due to liability. Its just not safe. The lazy river and wave pool are fine though.

I don't think so, I wouldn't risk it.
