What happens after you have your baby

After you have your baby does your stomach go down and can you instantly breathe better now that you have more room? Do you get your strength back and go back to your normal self? What should I expect to feel like

Depends on your labor and body I think. You'll have some pain after as your uterus goes down. If you tear or get cut then you'll be sore down there. Probably will anyway and sex probably will hurt or at least be uncomfortable for a while. You'll be tired because you'll have a needy newborn who doesn't sleep all night. But your stomach will go down and should start feeling relatively normal after a few weeks. I think everyone is different and every pregnancy and recovery is different. I have 2 kids already and am pregnant with number 3. My recovery after my first baby was way harder than with second baby.

Everyone pains are different. When I had my son unexpectantly early I had to leave him at the hospital. After they discharged me I was in Walmart getting last minute baby stuff I wanted. So everyone pains are different just depends on your body and labor experience. Good luck to u

Just had my baby a week ago. Yes, my stomach went down. All the pregnancy pain went away. The only pain I felt was vaginal. That hurt so bad. Still hurts some cause I tore. Oh and when I breastfed I got cramps cause my uterus was going down in size.
