birth story!!

39 weeks went into labor after my water randomly broke. Called my bf at work and told him to come home. Went to the hospital to have them confirm my water had broken. Got checked and was 3 to 4 cm dialted. In abt an hour i had dialated to a 5. Got the epidural and it wore off aftr 45 min And after awhile i had to get another one at like 4 in the morning i kept gettn horrible pain in my side and then realized my epi was wearin off again. Then when i finally got up in the morning a little after sunrise and my nurse wanted me to practice pushing after lots of crying and telln the nurse not to check me cuz it hurt more and she got all snippy and i begged them after pushing for an hour and a half to just give me a c section to make it stop they did and realized my baby was to big for me to push him out and i was lucky i ddnt hurt myself my little boy was born at 9:52 8 lbs 12 ounces 22 in long and hes perfect othr thn the pushing and the snippy nurse everything was amazing and my other nurses where great!

Yea i ended up yelln at tht one nurse and told her i would not push with her fingers in there bc everytime i would start to push she would put her fingers in. I remember how amazing it felt when the dr pulled my baby out durning the c setion and said wow girl u rlly were pushing bc his head was so big when i was pushing i was making his head odd shaped. And the nurse who ws all crappy was standing there had to listen to the dr tell me how amazing i was for pushing when tht nurse was bein bit.chy bc i told her i couldnt do it.

So happy for yoooouuuuuu!!!! Thank god cuz some nurses think they know more than they should sometimes.
