bloody show?

Hi ladies.
I've just gone to get out of the bath but before I did I went to 'clean' myself and there was bight red blood.
Would this be the start of my "bloody show"?
I'm 37+1. It wasn't a huge amount of blood, but was BRIGHT red...
I've been losing my mucous plug over the last week and a bit...

Your bloody show would be pink (usually pinkish blood mixed with your mucus plug, so pink jelly like mucus) not red, red blood should be checked out just to be safe.

You should go to the hospital right away.  I wouldn't wait at all

My doc says that blood may be a sign of labor. Go to the hospital. Good luck!

I never knew you spot before going to labor

I am on bed rest at the hospital.  Very bored in here, so,  I'm asking all the questions to all the docs and nurses.  And actually, the say blood spots is very common before labor

I would go to ER if you were going to spot before labor it wouldnt be bright red.my boyfriends mom is a OB It would be a dark color kinda mucusy like! GO TO ER RIGHT AWAY!!

UPDATE
I havent had any bleeding since this episode but I'm currently at the hospital and they're making me stay the night.
They did an examination and aren't sure where the bleeding is coming from and aren't too sure if it was my show or not.
They said if the bleeding happens tonight that they may have to look at inducing me.
