It melts at body temp which is why I love using it. But yes you do rub it in like lotion.

It's supposed to be amazing to help with our itchy bellies. The oil penetrates deep into the skin. It also potentially helps to prevent stretch marks. I just ordered a 32 oz bottle via amazon.

It doesn't sink into the skin for me if I try and applying it like a moisturiser so I use it in the shower and it leaves the skin feeling very moisturised but not oily.  I put it on my face over night if it's really dry also

I use it in my hair and put a tablespoon with a teaspoon if vitamin e oil in a warm bath. It is a good moisturizer and when you dry off from the bath it takes extra dead skin off. I also use it as the main oil in lotions that I make for my fiance as well as hair products.
