great 36 week doc apt!

I will be 37 weeks in a couple days & they checked my cervix today at my apt & I am 2 cm & a little over 60% effaced! I'm so excited! My cramps are getting MUCH WORSE! She said I can expect my son to be here very soon! She's thinking around 38 weeks if not sooner!! :)

My doctor told me to try castor oil! She said start off with 1 tablespoon & if nothing in 2-3 hours, to take the other dose of 1 tablespoon & just wait! She said when your dilated & baby is ready, things will happen within 8 hours if it works! ;)

Good luck. I was also told mine was going to be born very soon but still waiting. At36 weeks i was 2-3cm and 70% effaced at 38 weeks 4cm and 80%effaced. Almost 39 weeks and still waiting. Have been having a lot of strong contractions and craming for 2 weeks. Good luck!

I'm hoping you ladies start progressing soon! There's no greater feeling at a doctor apt when they tell you that your progressing well! :) get on that exercise ball & start bouncing!! :) that's all I've been doing every night for like an hour!

Your so lucky, I'm 38 weeks & 5 days pregnant & I'm not even dilating yet but today I lost my mucus plug.

Exciting! I was checked wednesday at 36+1 and I'm 1cm. 50% effaced and have been losing little chunks of my plug! So weird when things start progressing and you know you'll have your baby in your arms soon:) congratulations!
