I was 2 cm for week n half with my first one... walking and rocking on a exercise ball can help move things along a lil bit.

The same thing just happened to me over the weekend! I felt my water leak out a lil and i started having contractions so they told me to come to the hospital so they can check it out! Seen i was having contractions but water didnt break and started to give me shots to try to stop them...the shots helped a lil bit so they sent me home after they slowed down(contractions ). But i still had to stay in the hospital for 23 hours so they can look after me. The day after they sent me home, came back to the hospital to give birth!!! And that was today and i delivered at 34 weeks and 3 days...good luck

They don't typically admit you before being dilated @ least 3-4 centimeters. Your water had nothing to do with it. My first two I had to have my water broke for me. They may try and hold off on being aggressive as you are not even full term yet.

You aren't full term and your baby could be at risk if you deliver now. Take it easy. Try to stay off your feet for long periods of time and drink lots of water. Many hospitals won't keep you unless you are 5cm.
