It HAPPENS AT All ages....I am 43 and am preg for first time having waited for career, travel adventures abroad, marraige....just married Sept. on 5th anniversary and had gone off BC over summer with us both hoping and p k anning pregnancy. Mt husband is 50 and this is his first child too! We don't have any current friends with babies or even young kids....I feel like when I want to talk pregnancy, I am boring people. Some judge us now that somehow we have screwed up what could have been a very financially comfortable marraige and retirement, always telling us how much we will spend per year on kid, and how paying for kids college in future will keep us from affording to retire early and enjoy more travel. Goes to show that at any age, there cam be critics around you!I paid my wsy through school at 34...maybe kid can be raised to get good grades, scholarships, and work through school. Will set up a college savings plan and ask relatives and close friends to give "gifts" there vs. toys and clothes for first 10 years....I think it us wiser to save ages 1-10 for future vs. having a ton of expensive toys and clothes! Baby will wear Target until late teens! (-;

I know exactly how both of u feel. Im seventeen and my boyfriend currently lives with me but works all the time. And its hard only having a guy to vent to. Especially when he has no idea about pregnancy. And my mom could really care less.. I have one friend that has had a baby and shes seventeen but shes not really as comitted in our friendship as id like... Im also home schooled and only lived in this town for a few months..
