Babies can go down a little in weight after birth too. I'm doubting she'll fit newborn for long. I'd keep the stuff for after birth try them on and take them back if they don't fit. I wouldn't buy any more until you know
With my daughter at her 36 week ultrasound they estimated her weight to be 6 lbs 7 oz. She was born 2 weeks later at that exact same weight. So either she didn't grow those last two weeks or they were off.
Great thanks so much ladies :-)
My son was 9lbs3oz and pamper sizeb newborn diapers was tight on him but huggies nrwborn are alittle big and clothes some newborns are still big on him.
They told me my son was going to be around mid 7lbs lol he was 9 lbs 6 ounces ...he fit in newborn but for less then a month.
Don't always assume they r accurate in the size of the baby...it's usually not accurate when they measure the weight on ultrasound ..they were anywhere from 2-3 pounds off each time they tried 2 tell me how big my baby's were gonna be .take a couple of both sizes to b sure. Congrats and good luck. :)
My last baby was over 8lbs and still wore newborn for awhile
Yes we have tons of clothes in all sizes as well but starting to think maybe newborn will be a bit small .. wasnt sure if any ladies on here had given birth to a baby around that size and what their suggestions were lol .. we packed a few of each :-)
I don't know how many lbs my little girl will be but I started buying clothes. Sometimes I buy newborn, sometimes I buy 0-3 months and other time 3-6. Call me crazy but I think the plan will work. However she comes out, we will be prepared!
You can take couple outfits in different sizes!
