I'm hoping to be once I get to far along. I don't wanna send my baby to daycare. Plus it would probably cost as much as I make.

I was laid off from my job after 5 years and decided to stay at home to raise the kids and be a housewife. It actually saves us money because we don't need to pay anyone for daycare

I'm a stay at home mom, mostly due to the fact that my husband works out of state and is gone 2 weeks at a time and we decided our babies need at least one full time parent! But I love it and wouldn't want to do anything else! ❤

I'm a stay at home pregnancy lol my boyfriend makes enough that we're fine. Its our first and ever since we found out I'm pregnant, I've had an irrarional fear of losing the baby. So, I stay here and do home stuff and after the baby is born, I'll go back to college. :)

Right now i am. But i dont intendbit to stay that way. i was raised to be independent and be able to support myself. So i plan on getting a jib as soon as i can. I love my little girl and i wanna spend all the time in the world with her when she gets here. But i also wanna be able to afford to support her and myself if it was needed(:

I use to work, but I put my 6 month old in child care and he came home with a black eye... with NO explanation... the center acted as if they didn't know what happened.. so I've decided to stay  home with each of my kids until they start school. I have a 10 year old 7 & 4year old.. now preggo again.. and getting my tubes tied... sooooo... I hope to work in 5 years...

I would be working through the pregnancy and ten taking off but I am a teacher and high risk so figured the stress wasn't worth the risk to baby. I plan on staying at home as long as possible with this and any future babies. I was raised by a stay at home dad while my mom worked. It was nice to know he would be there is I got sick at school or needed anything. Also @Camille, a black eye is considered a head injury at most daycares. They should have called you and filed an accident report. Even if they didnt see it happen there should have been a report an a call (worked as a vpk teacher and a floater in a daycare for six years)

I am I'm 27 pregnant with our third son. When we got together I was a single working mom of a 21 month old. But my husband is super old fashioned and I.love it about him. We had been best friends for years before we started dating he even came to.my first baby shower.  So we knew from day one we wanted all the Same things. We got together in may 2012 I way pregnant by August when my.oldest turned 2. We got married that Halloween and bought our first house that November.  Now.I'm pregnant. With our third boy. I do have my rn  but I hated it. So we have ten acres and we grow all our own veggies and have chickens and goats. So we save big that way. It's awesome to have a man that wants me to stay home and take care.of.our babies. In my.option it's my job go keep the house clean laundry done and have Ghana did need ready correct him. He deserves it bc he does everything for us and busts his butt. :-)

I stayed home while my husband worked and payed the bills for 2 years then worked for maybe a year and then stayed home again. I'm in school 4 days a week though so it's not the same. :( Miss my little man. Going to stay home atleast 6 or more months with this little man then will start working. Can't see me not working and helping my family when I would be making $23-25 an hour. Wish I could stay home longer though.. ×(

I am! And proud of it! My husband works for the sheriff's department.  So with his crazy hours and if I did work then I would never see him.

I work full time now but my husband really wants me to be able to be a stay at home mom (just found out we're pregnant with our first). I would count it a huge blessing if I am able to...i think it's really looked down upon now a days. That's sad. I hate the idea of someone else raising my child...what's the point of that? No judgment on working moms though. That's difficult too and I applaud you.

I am. I've been out of work since last year because I had a bad ankle that resulted in surgery then got pregnant and still couldn't return, my fiance really don't want me to work but I've always been a worker and miss it at times! I may eventually look into something part time just to get me out of the house
