pregnancy and belly piercing, please help.

I'm a ftm amd currently 18 weeks and 2 days. I've had my belly pierced for about four and a half years.
I was wondering if there's anyone who could give me any information on it? Preferably someone who has already been pregnant with a belly piercing...

I've got a maternity bar, but it seems to be causing slight pain every now and then. I've never had a problem before. Could I be sensitive to the type of plastic its made from? Are there other materials that maternity bars come in?

I saw online you should get a good quality bellyring and you don't need to get maturity. Your skin stretches out you don't need all that bar. I took mine out because it was starting to get really uncomfortable and ugly looking. I'm 33 weeks and hoping it will still be open :/
