So in exactly one week i will be getting married to the man who stole my heart at 15year's old and at age 24he still hasn't broken it I'm so happy beyond words can explain but my dress i Picked out is a maternity wedding dress and 4weeks later it won't fit called around and no-one can alter and fix it within a week i know it's nothing but the devil but grr! !!!everything was and is supposed to be perfect and how perfect can it be when now I'm a dressless bride! !

Oh, I should have re-read my earlier post, I see I repeated some of the same comments.  At least I'm consistent!  LOL

I thought the dresses on eBay looked lovely, not just the used ones but the new ones too.  There was a strapless in what looked like a pale peachy white, marked at $100 though it had cost the owner $600.  I've never been one to turn up my nose at clothing on eBay even if used, because usually the owner is not selling something bad but something that worked well for her.  (The bad ones, people just give to the Goodwill.)  They also usually give the exact inches.  I got almost all my maternity clothes there, pennies on the dollar.  And of course, with a bridal gown, even if it is "used" it is not like the person wore it more than once!  Usually good karma, too.  Hope it all works out for you!

The other possibility is to get onto EBay, and key into the search line "maternity wedding dress."  When a bunch come up, sort by "Time -- Ending soonest" and you'll get the auctions that will end really soon first.  There are a lot of new dresses but also some nice looking used maternity wedding dresses, one was priced at $100 when it cost the woman $600 and it looked really pretty.  They will name the size and often the inches, so you can know you aren't bidding on something that won't fit, and if you do one of the auctions that ends really soon, you will still have time to get the person to send it to you (if you pay the extra, they can probably send it overnight).  That way, you'd have time to have it cleaned and pressed or whatever it needs.  But be sure the inches sound right, not just the size number, you don't want to have TWO dresses that don't fit.

A while back, women didn't get married in wedding dresses, they got married in their best dress.  Do you have a nice-looking maternity dress of any kind?  Or go to all the good maternity shops -- it's a good time of year to find formal maternity wear.  You might find something that looks a bit bridal.  Bright white is maybe too much to expect, but satin and lace will be out there.
