seeking help
I have this problem im homeless and expecting my third child now i want to find low income housing thats accepting applications but looked everywhere. I need help im due in april. Please help im in chicago and not trying to go to shelter.
Wow is all I have to say to some of u! For the lady that posted I live 3 hrs away from Chicago u can get on a train and come here and there's lots of help here for mothers and children if u need to know more u can contact me personally on here :)

You do need to start thinking with your head. Of you have no way to provide for s child, stop having them. This homelessness doesn't sound like you just lost your job, and could be on your way out if housing, it sounds like you've been homeless. You need to start thinking about those children, they are innocent. Maybe look into adoption for the one You are carrying now? Plenty of families would do anything to have a child, and would be able to provide a loving family for them. Go to a woman's shelter, I'm sure they have resources to help you.
Try enrolling in school, they have all kinds of grants that will pay you enough to get a place. Maybe a small one, but it will be something, also try your local churches. They will actually really try to help you get on your on feet.
You should try calling the state help hotline.. You can find it online. And try public houseing sites . i know in ft. Wayne, indiana its called section 42. But sometimes what you dont want to do is best. A shelter will give you essentials that you need . think whats best for the baby, youll know whats best when you think of it that way.
how in the world do you have access to a computer if your homeless! It would be wise to go to a woman's shelter for the safety for your child. Do you have the other 2 children with you? It's fixing to be cold up there you need to go to a shelter and stop having babies that you have no way of taking care of! Sorry but don't mean to be rude but the truth hurts. There are plenty of people that want babies and can't and then there are people that have babies and can't protect them or make a good life for them. Smh.. Go to a shelter!
i agree!!!!! no ones perfect and were all human... this app is for woman who have questions and come for comfort. if u cant ignore what u dont like thwn skip it or maybe this app isnt dor you!

Girl you need some birth control, you need to have all those kids they gonna suffer smh go to a health dept and get help. File for everything, contact all your family.
Ajsxoarajr, sounds like you should see doc to be sure everything is ok. You may also want to start a new thread with this question to get more responses directed at your question. Hoping everything is ok with baby!
Mommyboy15, I googled and Chicago has a branches of the women's resource center. Not sure which county you are in but I think this would be a good step to look at. I know the branch here in NC has emergency assistance for single mothers with little ones. It may be a shelter for a week or so but setup like dorm/group home meaning you do have some privacy. But this is generally the quickest way to get into permanent housing. I pray the best for you and your little ones, please keep us posted!
I'm worried I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I pretty sure I just lost some of my mucus plug is this normal? It wasn't a lot but it was definitely some. This is my second pregnancy so I know what it looks like. I just feel that this is too early
Sweetheart Chicago might be the wrong place to help u financially! But if its ur only option I think a shelter is going to be the fastest doorway to get u housing! Praying for u! Lemme now how else I can help!
