(In a shadow box on the wall, like art, I mean.) My mom has some dresses we wore as toddlers, definitely "vintage" by now, and I'm thinking of shadow boxing them as gifts for my sisters. They have hand smocking on the front that she did herself. - sniff -
It would look pretty funny on your finger. lol
RockRose, no girls or wives in the family who would want it? Like, the daughter or wife of the child you were carrying when you wore the pawnshop ring?
What about infant clothes from that baby, in a shadow box, with the ring and a lock of hair?
Oopps! I totally responded to the wrong post! Talk about pregnancy brain!
I wear my sports bra to bed.
I did too, Annie. I went into a pawn shop and bought a wedding band for $20.
I still have it and don't know what to do with it - I want to do something.
I bought a new band when pregnant (in the same, braided design as the old one) and wore it instead of my old one. The doctor was asking if I had any swelling and looked at my hand and said, "Oh, I see you haven't, you're still wearing your wedding ring." I was amused he would make that assumption since new wedding rings are certainly available. The only thing I wouldn't have done is gone without any ring when visibly pregnant. lol
I carry mine in a necklace because it still fits but at night with my carpal tunnel my hands swell so i wake up with a tight ring around my finger so took it off
Only take mine off to clean em.. Bought them a little big so had space when my hand swells .. They swell even when I'm not pregnant
I do everything with mine on except for showering and some cooking.
Mine are locked in the safe...haven't worn them for 5months. I gained weight and they don't fit me right now. My husband has been gaining weight right along with me so I told him to lock his up too.
I used to wear them but now my finger has actually shrunk so it's to big and I don't want to lose it and I also don't want to have it resized until baby comes so if I swell I can still wear it
I had to take mine off because of swelling.
