Alana,  that's not true.  Except in very unusual circumstances,  parents have the right to their children's medical information.  Children aren't covered under the usual HiPPA rules.

I do believe she can go to Planned Parenthood or some other similar facility,  or she could buy a pregnancy test at a store.

Hello! No your doctor can not tell your parents if you think your pregnant. It's super easy to make an appointment and get a test or even go to a pregnancy center if you can. If those arnt an option you can buy tests online if you have a credit card.

I think it's likely you'll have to have your parent's permission before your regular doctor can see you.  It does sound like you're pregnant.  Home pregnancy tests are very reliable at this point,  and would answer your question as to whether you are pregnant without needing a doctor's appointment,  and then you can go from there.  Best wishes.

No.  Tell your parents you want to talk to the doctor alone if they insist on coming, and tell the doctor you don't want them to know.  But if you are pregnant, won't they need to know sooner or later?
