Infertility Scare

My boyfriend and I have used drugs in the past, we are cleaning up our act however and planning for our future, a sober one together, and I was wondering if someday we will even be able to have children due to the drug use, or if there will be any complications.  I also have a disabled brother with a VERY RARE condition, called Optiz C Syndrome, and have also been afraid ever since I can remember of being at risk for having a child with some type of disability, I would love them and take care of them regardless but I know the struggles first hand having already lived it and am just trying to take all precautions.  The other issue is in the past, because of my old life style I have taken Plan B, more times than likely recommended and I was wondering if that too would effect our chances of having children someday.

Any information or help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Best think is to go to your doctor for a check up, odds are the drugs shouldn't have harmed you, just depending what ones.
If your worries about your brothers condition talk to your doctor about it, see if it's hereditary or was it an issue with conception at a late age, there's so many varying factors. Stressing about it won't solve it just hope for healthy and happy baby that's all you can do.

My boyfriend and I have had a long past with drugs and alcohol. We both are a few months clean, and we actually found out I'm pregnant today! So honestly, you should still be able to conceive. One, we weren't trying, two, we had both been on some heavy ****. You shouldn't have any complications either !
