Irregular Periods and Conception

I have always had very irregular periods. Lately, I get them every 2 to 3 months. How can I regulate my cycle and can I still ovulate? Will this affect my ability to conceive?

If you have time to try other options, I recommend Vitex. It's a natural herbal supplement that helps balance your hormones, so if your problem is relatively minor, this can straighten it out.
I'd missed 3 periods in a row when I started taking it, then about a month after, I got a small period, then 2 weeks after that, I'm pretty sure I ovulated normally. We'll see in another week if I get a period (or a positive pregnancy test).
I take two 400mg capsules every day, one IMMEDIATELY after I wake up, before I shower or anything, and the other approximately 30 mins before I eat dinner. It's best to take them on an empty stomach so it absorbs into your system better.
Good luck!

Iv been using ovulation tests to determin when i achually ovulate. Cus mine are irregular too so it helps me figure the best time to concive. Being a person that only gets a petoid every two monts u might ovulate one during that time or maby more ull just have to test its the best way to really know..i use first response ovulation kits.but u might need the one u pee on every day as buying 3months supply is expensive id get the one u can use over and over its sold at cvs and walmart.
