Chances of getting pregnant while using a condom

Hello Im 22 and 2 weeks ago I had sex for the second time in 2 months and it was with a condom. My period was due last week and it did not come on. I do have a recent history with period irregularities also during my first sexual intercourse experience which was in March  it was without a condom so I took the plan B and even before I took the pill I had period problems which started the beginning of the year. Once I took the pill, my period came on regular for march and april but not this month. So im not sure if it is the pill affecting my period or another case of an irregular period. I took a HPT at 2 days after missed period and 3 days after missed period and both were negative. I took one today which is a week and a day after missed period and it was negative. Is it safe to rule out pregnancy. Also could it be my body getting use to sex that would also cause a late period???

If it's possible, you might want to go to the doctor to find out what is going on and to know for sure about the pregnancy issue.  There could be something else going on other than stress.

Good luck!

Hello Sorry for the late post. Now my period is 18 days late im not sure what is causing it. I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago it was negative. Im not having any symptoms of pregnancy. I am have occasional back cramping and cramping in my lower abdomen as if i am about to start but still no period. I have went to the Doctor when my irregular periods started which was back in February and she put me on birth control pills but I haven't taken any yet because I used the plan b pill and it seems like after that my period was back on for March and April.

Also I have been having stress with living on my own, college, and also work stress. I have also gained a tremendous amount of weight so I don't know if this is possibly why my period is late.

Hi,
Since the home pregnancy tests are negative there is a less chance of a pregnancy. However the surest way to rule out a pregnancy is blood test for beta HCG and this can be done. Irregular periods are due to hormonal changes, PCOS, ovarian cysts etc. You should check out with a gynaecologist. Birth control pills can help get regular menses. Consult your Doctor. Hope this helps.
