Is it normal?

Hello Dr.
I'm 7 weeks 4 days pregnant according to LMP (1/1), my OB did my full physical exam & a vaginal US on Tuesday but all she saw was 2 sacs & nothing in it... She seemed very concerned & when I said I'm curious now, she added "me too"
I'm going for another 1 next week but she did my blood work to check if everything is ok.
I have a 3 yr old, this is our second pregnancy.
I'm very nervous... Is this normal ?
Thank u

Hi,
I'm so sorry my message back to you didn't go through!  I still had the notification on my hotmail that told me about the last message you wrote and I checked on it to see if you had wrote anything that I missed and saw that my message wasn't there :(  Sorry.  and I am so sorry that the babies didn't make it.I have been praying for you since I read that.  i hope you're doing O.K. now and maybe pregnant again???

Yes ... Thank u so much ... My HCG levels r dropping n my Dr. Is keeping a very close check... I was at 18k 2 weeks ago when I had 2... Went down to 9k last week ... She had me re-tested n it went further down to 7k... The nurse said its not looking good... "I'm sorry, don't wanna give u false hopes but its not looking good at this point" she said ... I'm going for re-test again tomorrow... :(
I have left it in HIS hands ... I'm sure he has good plans for me... Thanks for praying... I need them!
I'm bleeding/spotting too... I don't know what to expect!! :'(
Oh God ... Please give me strength!!
I'll keep u posted ... God bless ur angels :) muahhh xoxo

I'm so sorry you lost one of the babies.  I'll be praying for you and the second one.  Is your Dr. having you do more bloodwork to keep check on your HCG levels? Oh, and my twins are girls, we just found out they're identical even though they had separate sacs and placentas!

Thank u so much mommom2, my U/S was on Tuesday... I have only 1 yolk sac now & have lost 1... N my HCG count is down to 9000 something from 17965... My Dr. Was nervous abt the count going down... She thinks it could be from going 2 to only 1 but she had me go back for a repeat blood work... To see if its going back up!
Will get the results today... Keep me in ur prayers... I don't wanna lose this baby too :(
I'll keep u posted.
Hope ur babies n u r doing well... U have girls or boys or both? God bless!

I have 3 mo. old twins.  When I found out I was having twins, I had a vag. u/s at 6 weeks,  saw both of them.  The next week, had another vag. u/s and didn't see baby B, the doc. searched and searched in that sac but we didn't see her.  We didn't see anything until he flipped the machine to the mode where it seeks out bloodflow and we saw the little red person!  So I'm hoping yours is something like that.  What were your HCG levels? Mine at 5 weeks was 95,000 with my twins.
