has anyone ever miscarried one twin and one survive? PLEASE HELP

I am hoping somebody sees this and from experience can tell me something abt my situation since doctors can't seem to help me exactly. I gave birth to healthy big boy/girl twins who r 1n half yr old now. I am currently 16wks preg now.I started cramping bad at 14 wks. Rushed to a Gp who said it was js UTI. 2days later while on the uti treatment the cramping was coupled with bleeding.I then rushed to my gynae who said I had conceived twins bt the one miscarried. Only 1 heartbeat the other sac nothing. At the point the bleeding had stopped so she wasn't worried but said I must b on bed rest. A few days later I started bleeding again. The pains have never left. Sometimes they r mild sometimes they very strong that I cannot stand. On this day of 2nd bleed I rushed to nearby hospital. Another gynae saw me and said the same thing that I had conceived twins but one died n one is surviving. He says the bleeding brown blood once in a while may continue till the dead babies tissue is absorbed? My question is has anybody else ever had these kind of pains with vanishing twins? I've tried researching n it seems most ppl didn't experience these pains. I'm wondering has anybody else ever experienced this n if so how will these on n off pains last?
