so confused

my daughter found out 7 days ago she was pregnant, after being 8 days late for her period .... she had 2 pregnancy tests at the drs both positive, also took a clearblue digital, also said pregnant, the dr sent a urine sample to the hospital which came back negative, but the same day another clearblue said pregnant ... she started to have a very light bleed over the weekend only requiring 1 pad a day and it didnt get full (sorry tmi) lighter than her normal period, all the drs have said it seems normal ... as she is not bleeding heavy, no pain etc .... so why has  a pregnancy test now come back saying negative ??? she is so confused

Hi I am 35 yrs old female.  I am trying to conceive and my menstral cycle is usually 27-28 days.  I am having some white milky discharge and pinching in my overies. Last month I was 3 days early and now this month I am 2 days late according to my calculations. I took a pt this am and it was neg.  Discharge has no odor nor does it hurt just slight pinching in my overies.  My breast are a bit sore and slight throbing but nothing too bad. Can something be wrong with me? Really worried and confused.  Please help. Thanks

sometimes docs use preg test that test for a higher HCG (pregnancy hormone) level than home tests do

i have seen other posts identical to this and most of the time it is just that the doc test is looking for a higher HCG level to confirm a preg....i would request a HCG quantative test to prove the preg and get things moving

best of luck

Thankyou, its just so confusing for her, its her first baby shes only 19, and she just cant get her head around it all
if she is pregnant, then by now she should be under antenatal care, but because of all this shes not ... i will talk to the dr like u say, because, something definatley doesnt sound right xx

most of the time this light bleed is called implantation bleeding which may last around 3 days. But i do not understand why that many test would read positive and then the one sent to the hospital read negative. I would ask for a blood pregnancy test if she is still confused this is the only way to be 100% if she is confused by these results. Best of luck to you both.
