When is a good time to have a baby shower

They say like a month before you are due. I am due November 16th, having mine September 28th.

The earlier the better.  
I had mine at 29 weeks (good thing because I almost had my kiddo at 32 weeks).

I did mine two months before so I had time to get things that I still needed if I did not receive them at my shower. Also because you never know if they're going to come early.

27-34 weeks is the best time but honestly its up to you. I had mine at 29 weeks by 32 weeks I had finished getting absolutely everything and setting everything up. I've been prepared for baby since then. I'm 36 weeks now I'd hate having to do everything I did then now.
