11 week ultrasound seems too early to say this a boy??

We had our first ultrasound this week. Going by my lmp, I was 11 weeks 1 day. The tech said I was 14 weeks 3 days, going by measurements. Please compare my two photos and tell me what you think! In one, the “boy parts” look morelike an umbilical cord. It’s quite long and there is no sign of a scrotum, like I’ve seen in many other images. In the second, it’s a completely different shape... shorter and wider. But it still seems more like the cord. I’ve also read online and was told by my midwife that it is TOO early to tell, even if I am 14 weeks. Please help! I would really appreciate any and all of your thoughts. And any ultrasound photos you can share of umbilical cords compared to boy parts! :))

Since I was a high risk pregnancy with my first born, I was blessed to have a 4D ultrasound every month of my journey. I was told at our 14 week appointment that we were have a boy and it was clear as day that we were. I recently attended a gender reveal party where they found out through a blood test at 10 weeks. I thought that was really bold to try that soon via a blood test, but supposedly they're all the rage these days and have become about 99% accurate. I always advise new parents to ensure at a later ultrasound the gender just in case.

I'm glad you got your pics o your profile page but . . . I can't tell anything from them. You probably can't either.  You have a few short weeks to wait and you can have a definite answer. Are you hoping for a boy or a girl?

Thank you! You’re right, I don’t think there’s enough detail. I’ll be getting a 2D ultrasound in 3-4 weeks.

I have two boys, so It would be nice to have a girl. They’re hoping for a little sister. But we’ll be happy either way, as long as they’re heathy. :)

I don't see ay pictures on your profile page.  I DO think it is a bit early to tell.  My doctor's office will give you a gender reveal at 19 to 20 weeks.  Before that time, it can be hard to really discern exactly for the reasons you say.  :>)  It's hard knowing.  We didn't find out until the birth . . .  husband did not want to know and I knew that meant I couldn't find out or I'd let the cat out of the bag ad ruin his surprise.  :>)  When is your due date?  Wow, so you are having this baby a few weeks sooner than you expected!

Thank you for your response. :) I thought attaching pictures to my post, would be simple. But I can’t seem to figure out how to add them. I even tried to copy and paste them in a response to myself. I appreciate the information you shared with me. It’s helpful.

Originally my due date was March 10, 2019. After taking measurements, the tech told me my due date would be February 15!

Do you know how I can add my photos? I have two that I wanted to post here. Thanks so much! :))
I was able to post both pictures to my profile. Please look and tell me what you think! :)
