Hi I'm sixteen wks & 2 days pregnant & I'm confused as to who the baby,s dad is I slept with my boyfriend on 17th December then we split up  the next time I slept with someone was the 6th of january the midwife told me I conceived on 1st January but I'm still confused can anyone help m.x ny thanks

It's because they add two weeks to the date that they give us when they tell us we're 5 weeks or 15 weeks or whatever. Though the doctors say you're 17 weeks, you actually only conceived 15 weeks ago. They date us from the last period (which is supposed to be approximately 2 weeks before conception) not conception itself. I know it's confusing but your baby has only existed 15 weeks, the first two weeks there was no baby, it's pre-conception but is still considered part of the total of 40 weeks we're pregnant. So when you go back 15 weeks, you're in the second week of January, not late December/early January and definitely not mid-December...it's just too far back for his sperm to be anywhere near your egg.

I'm still confused by all the mixed answers count back 17wks & it makes it.1st of January so I can't work out why if it was the man I slept with on 6th January I would only be 16 wks.

I'm 17 weeks and conceived January 13 so there is no way you conceived on the 1st of January

Like mama bear said  sperm can live inside u for 5_7 days.so u def got pregnant in jan

I think when u conceived is wrong...I conceived on December 29 and I'm 19 weeks & one day.??

I plugged it into a due date calculator and it matches up with your due date...you did conceive around the 13th. Assuming the 6th was the last time in January you had sex, it's definitely that guys. Sperm can live for 5-7 days inside us and conception dates are not exact, but it definitely couldn't have happened in December.

If you're seventeen weeks tomorrow, you would have conceived around the 13th of January. Is that from an early ultrasound? Later ultrasounds aren't really as accurate.

I would say it's the person you slept with on the 6th but usually when they calculate your pregnancy they go back two weeks before you even conceived good luck

I'm in the same boat except I conceived on Jan 11 or so my Dr says. I slept with my bf on the 11th then we split and I got with someone else on the 16 so I feel ya

I'm 16weeks and 6 days and I conceived January 13..I deleted my period tracker so idk when my last period was but I'm sure it was the end of December also I remember doing the cabbage patch New Years Eve cause I wasn't on ..

Im 16w nd 5d according to this app I concieved jan 14 my last period was dec 31 but if u concieved on jan 1 u would be a week or 2 ahead

I am exactly 16wks and 2 days preg too. The only night I had sex was jan 16th, a day earlier than the ultrasound said. But it was night so no biggie for it to take a few hrs to make me preggo turning into the next day. If we are exactly the same length in pregnancy, it would've been the beginning of jan according to the docs. Deff not the first guys from December.

I would guess if u are that fare along I would think that the baby would be your boyfriends baby coz if it was da other guy u woundnt be as fare as u r hope that helps any
