1st time mom .. 33wks help!:(

Im almost 33 weeks pregnant, i work at a corner store im on my feet 5 or 6 hours a day. Everytime time i walk i get this painful pressure on my right side of my hip and lower back i cant even walk or lay down comfortably with out being in pain. I had my appt with my doctor and i tripped out because her head is already down there .. Could it mean i might have her early and that her head is whats causing the pain? I tried massaging but dont work.

Yes ma'am, sciatic nerve pain! Your baby is probably rubbing against the nerve and causing irritation. I had it throughout my first pregnancy.  Hang in there!

I work 8 to 10 hour days and I notice by the end of the day I'm in a lot of pain. But I know it's just the baby's head putting a lot of pressure down there. It's normal.

Sounds like sciatic pain. You can invest in maternity support belt that can take the pressure off of your hips.

I have had the exact same pain! My daughter has been head down and ready to go starting around 28 weeks! Try to do stretches to loosen the area up. Get a note from your doctor about needing breaks to sit and rest, your manager can't say much after that unless they are really goal oriented toward not accommodating your medical needs (I can smell a lawsuit coming their way for failure to comply).

You are walking or standing too much. I get it realy bad when i walk or stand too much, even more so when I hold in my pee. It can really really hurt at times. Is there a way you can ask for a stool to sit on, in between customers and job tasks? Hope you feel better!

I'm 34w5d and my baby's head has been down since 32 weeks, and no labor for me yet. It's normal for their head to be down at this time and it probably is just the babys head causing the pain bc I have been getting it too!
