best job-CNA @ nursing home in my hometown...i loved going there, and since i worked with the same rez's on the alzheimers wing, it was like family away from family....even though sometimes i got beat, or they didn't know me 3 days later ;)
worst job-collections.....the money was awesome(lord i miss that paycheck), but man, i worked for dell computers, and the debtors would act like it was MY FAULT something happened to their computer, or that THEY didnt read their contract.....i was able to collect on ALOT of accts the managers would only get cussed and hung up on, but still.....oh and the other thing i hated, was that my head mgr hated the fact that i wouldnt "clear" a balance with a military family...these guys and their families got caught in that whole "pay $1k over 12 months for a computer", but they didn't realize that dell would open an "account" like a credit card, and therefore they'd be stuck with like 25% interest after defaulting, on top of a "monthly" payment, AFTER they'd already paid off the computer TWICE.....and knowing what it's like in the military, i'd only ask them for the minimum payment(that'd bring their acct into good standing), rather than demanding they give me the whole payment of anywhere from 800 to an actual account that was nearly 4100!!!
The best job that I've had is my current postion assistant principal and
The worst job I've ever had was a leasing agent for an "inner city" apartment complex when I was in college, it was not only the worst but it was scary! Glad those days are over, I only worked there for two months!

Yeah totally! I was like NOT STUPID ENOUGH?! they paid very good for what I did...but I felt humiliated..and just...how can you tell someone that does an awesome job to be more stupid?! I got along great with everyone. I had jokes and was very helpful. Did everything i was supposed...but oh man..I didn't act stupid enough. Sc*rew you lady! lol I don't need this job. I was actually working this job at the same time as my hostessing job at the chinese place. Worst Job- I dont really think ive had a job i havent liked. Well mabye one, i did tech support for AT&T users over the phone. People can be so rude specially when they think they no more than you do. If thats the case why are you calling me.
Jame, I know what you mean about the worst job. At the coffeehouse, EVERY SINGLE TIME the owner came in, she told me how awful I was and how I didn't do enough of this or that. I worked HARD and I got the food out very fast and it always looked beautiful. Not to mention that when I would plate the food, she would tell me to do it differently every single time, all while saying, "Consistency is key in food service." Uh... then stop telling me to turn the sandwich triangles this way, when last week you told me something else!!!
Grr.... I'm not bitter... nope... not at all! Especially as, when I told her I was pregnant, she asked me to leave. When she was my age, she got preggo and gave her baby up for adoption. I think the chick was just jealous of me or something because I had my life together.
Worse Job - I guess that would be my first temp job. I was doing telemarketing and the day would just drag on for what seemed like forever!!!! I would/could never do that again!!!
Best Job - I guess where I work now. Since I have 5 kids and have worked here for 5 years, they know me very well here. So, they are super flexible when I have to take off for my kids, whether they are sick, or have a school function. My family always comes first, and they are very understanding about that here; at least in my dept. But I worked with A LOT of the same people (that I work with now) several years ago when I worked for one of my company's competitor's. So the people are very familiar as is the industry. And it was a nice way to get my feet wet again after staying home for a couple of years with my kids.
Best Job- Working as a manager at a Disney Catalog Outlet (free tickets to WDW, 50% off on hotels in the park, merchandise discounts and other perks!) I really miss working for Disney :-(
Worst Job- At a bakery owned by weirdos who listened to Rush Limbaugh all day and couldn't give me a day off after I had a car accident (because it was near Christmas and I needed to decorate trays FULL of gingerbread men! Ughhh! I wanted to bite their little heads off! (the cookies...not the people:-)
P.S. Nothing personal against any of you who listen to Rush! LOL

Best Job: Probably working at the little local chinese place. I loved my boss...the hours sucked and pay was minimal...but it was fun because I worked with nothing but my closest school friends. I was a hostess!
Worst Job: Dream dinners. I was a food admin and regulator rep...or whatever. I filled the containers before the session started and as the customers used it and walked around assisting people. I got put on 30 day probation because they thought that I didn't try hard enough to be silly and playful?...no joke my boss told me straight up that I didn't act "stupid enough".. the other worker at "my level" was a girl that was my best friend in elementary school, but she was this tall skinny ditsy smiley person...and I was more serious and tried not to mess up. I was so angry that they put me on probation for that reason that after they told me...I called in 5 minutes before my next shift and told them I quit lol..
