2nd degree tear

Had my baby girl on the 17th due 22nd Had a 2nd degree tear Had stitches how long does it take to heal?

My stitches took 5 weeks to dissolve and heal.

It took 4 weeks until I stopped hurting cos of the stitches, by 5 weeks the stitches had gone :)

Mine hurt for like 3/4 weeks and dissolved after 5 I had 80+ stitches

Ok thank you ladies. I don't know if mine have dissolved yet it's been 18days. The pain is a bit better when I wee sometimes it stings :-(

Peeing was the worst I had to spray water at myself while I peed or else the pain was brutal.

80+!!!!! That sounds AWFUL!!!!!! With my first I had stitches but I'm not sure how many. It took nearly my whole 6 weeks for them to dissolve.

Yes!!! Going wee was the worst and having to poor warm water.
