30,000 HCG levels and Only a Gestational Sac! HELP!

I am a healthy 21 y/o female and very first pregnancy.
I had my first HCG quantitative on 21 Sept and it was only 2,000
I had went in for my first U/S on 27Sept and was told i was about 5wk4d pregnant and the gestational sac was only seen. so they asked me to come in again in about 2-3 weeks to take another look.
Came in 16OCT to take another look and at this time i was supposed to be at 8wk2d and still only a gestational sac was seen. The U/S doctor came in to inform me that is most likely a Blighted Ovum and felt so Crushed!
Then was asked to do a blood test to verify and comes to turn out my HCG levels are a little over 30,000.
The doctors informed me to play the "Lets Wait and See Game" which i am not at all excited about. i just want to know if anyone has anything similar to this or can help and give me advice ASAP. PLEASE HELP!

WONT BE GETTING ANOTHER U/S UNTIL THE 22ND OF OCT AND WONT BE SEEING THE DOCTOR TIL THE 23RD OF OCT ! I JUST CANT WAIT! PLEASE HELP

I'm wondering if your not as far along as you may think. With my last pregnancy my Dr said I may or may not see the heartbeat at 6.3 weeks because it was still very early. Everything was so small then too. As hard as it is to wait for the next ultrasound it's all you can really do at this point. I know it's an awful feeling to have to sit and wonder what's going on but it gives everything a chance to grow and hopefully be seen.
Good luck!!

Sometimes it just takes longer to be able to see it, I've heard of a few people it taking longer, or maybe you're not as far along as you thought. As much as the wait and see game *****, it'll be worth it if you see a healthy baby growing next U/S, I'll be thinking of you, and hoping everything works out for you!!
