3D ultrasound?

So I went in for a 3D/4D ultrasound and my baby didnt look anything what I thought she would. She actually looked funny looking with a big nose. Dont get me wrong, I will love my baby girl no matter what she looks like. I just was shocked that she looked the way she did. I never would have thought Id be so vain to think my child was ugly and feel like a horrible mother for even thinking that. It has really bothered me after seeing the picture Has anyone else ever had 3D ultrasounds and been disappointed in the results?

My daughter looked just like my husband in both pictures and when she came out. I thought for sure she had my husbands nose. Now she is 2 and I have no idea whose nose she has. It looks different than everyone's. You can never tell what will happen!

Mine offered a free redo if I wasn't pleased with the pictures I got, so I would call and ask. Though if you already bought prints and such they probably won't.

I don't think they'd offer a free redo just because you don't like how your baby looked. That's not the ultrasound techs fault. It'd be different if you paid money and couldn't see anything at all because the baby was hiding his/her face.

Your baby was probably just smooshed in there. They say the best time to go is between 28 and 34 weeks because the baby is big enough to see features but not too bug where it is smooshed from not having room.

Their noses look a lot bigger than they will when they come out, I was curious about that too lol. The tech told me they're sort of water logged, so when your babys born I bet the nose will be alot smaller, mine was. But overall I wasn't happy with mine, she was so stubborn she wouldn't move of the placenta, so it most of them her face is squished and distorted. If you're really not happy though they should offer a free do over, though maybe all places dont

I think most babies look funny in a 3d ultrasound. They're kinda squished in there so things might look distorted.
