I would be talking to your midwife. Was anything picked up in your scan?? Depending on the position, he could be hitting your cervix which would then hurt in your lower abs.

I am 26 weeks and experience this as well. Sex is okay during pregnancy.  But take it easy during Sex. If it hurts or makes you uncomfortable in any way. Just let your partner know. I usually am the one on top, because of course I know what hurts and what doesn't.  Pain could also be a sign of infection.  Just be sure to write everything down to talk to your Dr about at your next apt

I'm 28 weeks and been experiencing this seen about 22 weeks it's mostly when he's on top so now we try different ways which is still a struggle lol. I've red somewhere it's to do with your body contracting or orgasm or something like that. We found it didn't hurt if you lie on side with leg up I suffer with SPD too. If you hurt in the vagina area too it could be thrush or water infection

When I was 28 weeks me and my SO had sex and I got contractions they were only Braxton hicks which are normal even at that point. Just be sure to talk to your doctor about it to make sure there isn't something else going on in there.
