HELP

sooo yesterday was my first appointment with my new doctor, my old OB doesn't deliver anymore so he transferred me at 36 weeks...

I'm 1 1/2 cm dilated my cervix is thin. Which I heard is normal due to you being able to be 1 cm for months or so...

Anyways! My original due date was August 13th but my son and I were measuring a week ahead so he switched my due date to August 5th

Now at my new doctor they're saying August 15th. Just because they're going off my LMP.

I just don't know what to think or do because I was set on August 5th all our family and friends think August 5th and now I feel I don't know when to expect him.

Has this happen to anyone ? I feel so embarrassed to be like oh August 15th now like wth??

That's what I thought.. And they did two ultrasounds and determined the 5th now my new docotor won't give me an ultrasound cause I'm too far along and they aren't going to do anymore and he's just gonna go off the 15th I just hate that our family and friends think the 5th and now it's like a almost week difference

Due dates are estimates. Baby could come around the 5th or the 15th. I would go off whichever due date was determined by an ultrasound, it's more accurate.
