Keep on top of your vitamins! An easier way to do it and not worry about specifics is to take a pregnancy supplement which is crammed full of folic acid (Which you should be taking every day to help prevent neural tube defects), iron, vitamins D, E, K and C, B6, etc.
Nice dark leafy greens like kale and cabbage is good, but you should stay away from soft cheese, unpasturised milk, tuna in large amounts, raw or pickled fish, undercooked meats, etc..
drink lots of water..take carrots leafy vegetable..dont go for wine energy drinks,pineapple,pappaya....take milk...and ofcourse prenatals...dont move your body alot...dont climb stairs...these are the things i was asked to do when i was 5 weeks...btw CONGRATULATIONS MAMA...(pray to god for a healthy pregnancy if you r a beliver)
Get prenatals or folic acid!! You must be having 800 mg of it. Also iron is important and if you're feeling morning sickness, it'll be hard to handle iron pills or even prenatal so spinach is good.
What I did was take flinestone vitimans with an extra dose of folic acid :) hope this helps.
