6 weeks pregnant bleeding for 3 weeks

hi I just foung out today that im pregnant i had what seemed to be my first period after having my baby 8 months ago on 23 march  so that would make me about 6 weeks but for the last 3 weeks i having brown red back and som times cloty bleeding i had an infection last week so had antibiotics pain killers and anti inflamitarys went to doc today she did not suspect pregancy but gave me an internal because for the bleeding said there was a lot of blood she thought was coming from high up when i got home i did a pregancy test that i had it was in the middle of the day and was really dark positive even before the urine had spread all the way across i expecting the worse but hoping for the best any insight would be great thanks

Just found this old post of mine turn out what I thought was a misscarrage was not I has an ectopic and that was it rupturing was bleeding internally for the next 5 day till I went for a us to see if I had passed all the tissue from what was thought was a m/c and they seen my ectopic went to therter and had 3 letters of blood in my stomagh I was very sick by that time just want to write down a quick account of what happened to get it of my chest if any one read this sorry for waffeling thanks

Sometimes woman can bleed during their whole pregnancy every month like a normal period... My friend did and her 2 babies are healthy... I would get an HCG level done though.

The best thing would be to contact your doctor and have 2 blood tests 72 hours apart to make sure your levels are doubling properly. That would be the best indicator of what is going on at this point.

I bled from weeks 5-10 of my pregnancy almost every day and now have a beautiful 3 1/2 year old. It honestly just depends. Anytime you bleed in pregnancy it can go 50-50 either way.
