8 weeks pregnant and very achy

Hi ladies i have a question, i am 8 weeks 4 days pregnant today.. if i were to get a period, today woulda been around that time... I woke up this morning and my whole body HURTS its all achy and sore.. my hips and my lower back mostly.  Nausea has been stronger today ( i haven't actually gotten sick just get strong urges to be sometimes) have had a headache off and on today.. someone made the comment to me that i might be feeling this way due to the fact that this would be "period" time if i wasn't pregnant and some women can feel extra crappy around this time.. What do you think?? and could this go on for the entire pregnancy? i haven't had any bleeding or anything what so ever.

Thanks for your input :)

I know it, when I first found out I hadn't missed my period yet and it felt exactly like PMS pains, and I was SO worried I was miscarrying when I found out, but he's a 100% happy baby boy! :] It FLIES by!

It's pretty normal to feel "crappy" the first trimester of pregnancy, I was VERY achy/crampy, dizzy, sick, headachy. it was awful. It DOES get better though! Second trimester was AMAZING it felt like a break, besides the fact that I got heavier everrrrry day, haha. It might help to put a pillow between your legs at night, and make sure you're sleeping on your side, it might help the back pain and hip pain, you'll NEED it later in pregnancy, there will be no sleep without it. Unless you're cramping bad enough to double you over, or if it gets unbearable I wouldn't worry about it!
