Any one addicted to eating ice cubes

So I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and I can't stop with the ice chewing.  Idk if this is truth but I read or heard from someone say it's because I don't get enough iron. I don't if it's truth or just some awful information.  Did you ladies have any cravings that you couldn't stop?

I constantly have a cup of ice, my husband gets annoyed hearing me chew in bed, I do have anemia, and it is supposedly a sign, I do take extra iron but I don't ever feel different.

Sorry it posted before I could edit... I was saying the main symptom the doctor pointed out that would really stand out was craving and chewing ice. It would be something I would check with your doctor for sure. If it is anemia it should be an easy fix with an iron supplement. Good luck with the last month, you're almost there!

I am not a doctor, but I am anemic during this pregnancy. I asked my OB about checking my blood again now that I am on an iron supplement to see if it was still showing anemia. She said she wouldn't check again unless I was showing signs of anemia. The main symptom she pointed out thay would was chewing ice.
