9 weeks pregnant & EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE

I have known I was pregnant since the 4th week. Since about the 5th week and I have been nauseated 24/7 and unable to eat or have a normal appetite. I'm also very constipated. I take vitamins, fiber supplement and am a pretty healthy eater..so I'm at a loss with everything. I get exercise daily and drink up to 6 bottles of water a day...so why am I still so uncomfortable?  I am having trouble sleeping, going to the bathroom, eating and keeping things down. Any suggestions? First pregnancy. If I don't get these symptoms under control I will have to leave my job.

Everybody's comments were spot on to help you! Basically you just have to try things out to see what helps best with you body. One day it might work, the next day or week it won't lol. At least that's how I was. It does get better with time Hun. But as far as the prenatals go, any extra vitamin helps with the baby. Your baby won't die or be deformed in any type of way unless you have something unusual going on with yourself or your pregnancy and the doc has spoken on it. If you're just normal, the gummies will def help out. The way I look at it, what good is the prenatal doing if I'm throwing it up?! NONE! So it's better to take an over the counter and get some vitamins that can actually stay down and get in mine and the babies system.

I found eating yogurt with some fruit and a fibrous granola for breakfast helps regulate my bathroom schedule

Also if you struggle to keep food down, try eating very small portions as often as you can instead of full meals, and try and stay clear of dairy

The first trimester is the hardest. I always kept saltine cracker, ginger ale and water with me. It helped a lot! It will get better! Good luck dear!

I had awful sickness at first, my midwife told me that peppermint has natural calming effects on the stomach and is completely safe during pregnancy. You can either get peppermint tea, gum/sweetsor even chew on actual peppermint leaves. The tea seemed to work best but obviously you can't just take it everywhere so I just made sure I had plenty of gum with me all the time just incase :)

I'm 10 weeks now and had trouble with constipation. Believe it or not mix Miralax with your beverage once or twice a day and it helps! Best of luck!

Its my second pregnancy and same thing. I wish there was something to help. Toasted bread and jelly help me. And nibbling on a slice of apple every morning before u even get up.

I found that eating oatmeal for breakfast every morning helps with constipation and it's really good for toy and the baby. Talk to your doctor about anti nausea medication if you can't keep anything down.

I'm sorry that were in the same boat! I tried phenagren and it helps like whenever I'm just plain old nauseated..but it doesn't if I smell something or move too quickly

Thank you! I will definitely try the gummies, regular prenatals don't sit well with my stomach but I was worried that the gummies might not be as healthy.

(For constipation)Try upping your fruit intake and drinking even more water. 6 bottles is very good, but when you're pregnant sometimes your body needs even more. And everyone's limit is different. (For nausea) I had to stop taking my prescribed prenatals and iron supplement and just get over the counter prenatals. Like the fummies or the flinstones. As long as you're eating very healthy it shouldn't make a big difference unless told otherwise by your doctor. Also, I had them prescribe me nausea medicine that I keep on me at all times (ondansetron generic gor zofran). Other than that it's just one of those things you have to deal with :-( hope things get better Hun
