My son was 11 days over due and weighed in at a wooping 10lbs.  I had a 2nd degree tear with him but would have rather had a big baby over a smaller fragile one.  The bigger the baby easier to manage.  Thats what i found  will be interesting to see what this one will weigh

I was told I was going to have a 9 + baby. At 35.2 he was weighing 6.15. Baby came 2.5 weeks early and ended up weighting 7.12 but those ultrasounds aren't too accurate.

I'm 36+5 and was told baby is already over 7lb. And that I'm not allowed to go over due to size and that I am now high risk

A lot of people I know were told their baby weight at least a pound more than it really did. So I wouldn't worry to much

My baby was born 2.5 weeks early and he was 7lbs 3oz.  The doctor told me that if he was born on time he would've weighed 9lbs. Im thanking god that he came early because the thought of having a 9lb baby naturally scares me

I was told at my dr appointment the morning I went into labor with my first that shed probably be around 6-7 lbs and she was just over 8lbs and drs worried this one might be slightly bigger since I'm not making much progress yet at 38+6 and I have GD which can lead to heavier babies but like sonialeah said, you'll be surprised at what your body can do but don't stress over it now just take it as it comes and you'll be fine. Good luck!

Im trying to go all natural and two weeks ago i was told ny son was about 8lbs 3oz. But my tech also told me that they always aim a little higher and its hard to gwt a good accurate weight when the head is already   engaged. But im waiting for a big baby too :) im positive we'll be able to do it natural! The best advice everyone tells me is to concentrate on my breathing!

With my first i was told 7pound and i ended up having a 9pound 4oz boy naturally, my second we were told 10pound and he came out 8pound 9oz he ended up being an emergency c section. We havent been told a size for this one yet but my midwife said she thinks hes only gonna be a little one. Youll be okay its amazing what the body can do.
