I have more acne now that I'm pregnant than I ever have. I seriously feel like a 15 year old boy working the grease fryer at a fast food joint! It's all over my face, on my chest, and over halfway down my back. It has gotten better at some points throughout my pregnancy but it has also become really bad! Hope you don't have the same expierence I've had with it!
Thank you to Destynne2015 and madilineLOWERY and the other two helpful women. I'd appreciate it if all of the others that were rude to not be. I'm scared, stressed, confused, and am not exactly in the best shape so I don't know what to expect with pregnancy.
A lot of people say not to use face washes with salacylic ( is that how its spelled ) acid in it. But there actually hasn't been any connection between TOPICAL treatment with this substance and defects with pregnancy. I've been using cold creme in the morning and st. Ives apricot scrub with salacylic acid at night and that has cleared my face right up. Make sure you buy a moisturizer that is oil free ( it seems counter productive but if you leave your face dry it'll get even worse ) my skin got SO bad as I entered my second trimester I looked like a pregnant meth head and those three things really solved my problems
I think what she meant to say was Is that shes pregnant and wondering if acne is a common symptom? I notice you have several posts stating you already confirmed youre pregnancy so im just assuming. Yes it is a common symptom and sometimes it will worsen, other times it will clear up. Your hormones are going through a lot causing breakouts on your skin. Try dabbing some Witch hazel water on ur face twice a day. Try not to put any acne face washes on it, those really seem to aggravate the skin even more during pregnancy. Take caew
it doest have to pregnancy sign... it can be related to stress, wheather or anything....
Its completely normal in pregnancy. I have been breaking out since day 1 :(
You posted yesterday saying that you're 4 weeks pregnant and getting a belly, today you have some acne and are asking if you're pregnant at all? I would suggest that you go to a doctor and get a pregnancy test because you seem confused.
Acne happens for many reasons not just pregnancy unless you are actually pregnant it is a symptom
