Don't have my appointment for about another week! Figured I'd try here first,  maybe you ladies can help me out. Sorry this is so TMI. :/

I have what appears to be tears on my labia above my vagina.  I noticed last night after using the bathroom I was kind of tender and didn't think much about it. But today it hurts pretty bad!! The only thing that seems to help is a cold rag placed there.

Is there anything you know I could put on it to help it from being so raw? More uncomfortable than anything!  

(No itching or any other symptoms. So I don't think it's any kind of infection)

Try using a baby wipe instead of toilet paper. That may help keep you from getting irritated again. Or they make the flush able ones for adults.

Ointment helped loads. Maybe my doc can recommend something when I go see her! Thanks so much ladies.

I would try some kind of ointment... maybe the tears came from your urine, sometimes urine came be very acidic and irritate the labia minora, or when we wipe too rough. But thats a minor fixer upper. No worries : )

No idea how I got the tears! I've been pretty dry since I got pregnant.  Haven't had sex in 2 weeks so.. it isn't that. Thanks though :) I'll try to go out and get some of that

I would try some aquaphor. It will keep the area from getting dry and itchy as it heals and also forms a protective barrier so it doesn't get infected. With my son I never tore vaginally but oddly I got a tiny tear on the clitoral hood, not enough to get stitches, but over the last few years it sometimes rips a tiny tiny bit there after sex. I use the aquaphor and it helps alot and it heals pretty quick too. I would try that! Any idea how you got the tears?

When I get raw like that I use a little bit of bikini zone after shave gel. Helps with pain due to it being low amounts of lidocaine
