pupps?  I have a few light streach marks on my lower belly & have developed a rash it them.

the rash just started a few days ago, but it itches & burns like no tomorrow.  Bathwater stings!  I have not called the doc about it because I'm schedulled to have a c-section on friday & mine isn't as widespread as yours.  scratching hurts.  Don't scratch.

You do not have to suffer.  Call your doc & he / she can send out a cream that will help a little.  or call in some sort of pills.  This is fairly common.

Hi, i developed a rash at about 37 weeks, i went to the hospital to have blood tests to rule out obstetric cholestasis, blood tests were fine but they disgnosed PUPPP, they gave me an antihistamine tablet which i took daily, i also rubbed chalomine lotion on and within 2 weeks it had completely gone away, at one stage it was all over my belly, breasts, arms and legs but it completely went away before i delivered so i was lucky as i had been told it wouldn't go away until i had the baby,
at its worst stage i wanted to itch my skin off it was so painful

Yep sounds like PUPPP. There isn't anything that will make it go away. It is awful! I had it with both my pregnancies and vowed never to have another because to me it was the worst part of pregnancy. Didn't hold to that vow obviously. Good news is that it goes away within a couple days after you give birth. Some things that help are ice packs, hypoallergenic soap like dove, and benedryl to knock you out so you can actually sleep at night. Whatever you do try not to itch because they will leave stretch marks and it just makes the itching worse.

it sounds like pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP)

You need to call your dr.  Some rashes can signify a serious problem.

It happens to some pregnant women...I can't think of the medical term for it, but it happens towards the end of pregnancy and if I remember correctly the only way for it to go away is delivery of the baby...you should seek medical attention though...good luck...
