Allergies?!?

Is anyone else having allergies right now?  I keep thinking I have a cold but it seems to be more of allergies.  I didn't know it was allergy season... weird!

If your atleast in your second trimester, benadryl is safe to taje for allergies and works great! Either that or zyrtec. You can also use a nasal spray to help. They have a thing called a netty pot- its a small plastic "tea pot", it comes with saline solution packets, you use one packet with warn steralized water and lean over the sink, you put the spout up one nostril and slightly tilt your head and the saline will work its way through your sinuses, blow your nose and do the other side. It sounds disgusting and weird, it takes a little getting use to, but its awesome! The nasal spray and netti pot you can use even in 1st trimester. Hope you feel better! Oh and with problems involving mucous try to avoid dairy products until it gets better.

I might also have a sinus infection.  I wake up in the morning and my sinuses HURT, I have always had an on and off problem with my sinuses.  It's not just a runny nose though, I sneeze like 10 times each time I sneeze and thats several times a day, also my eyes itch like crazy and water constantly.

If its just a stuffy nose there is something called pregnancy rhinitis which is just congestion caused by hormones. I've had it off and on since I was about 3 months. Sinus infections are also much more common during pregnancy. So could be any of those too!

Lol i know right!?! As if we dont already have enough preggo symptoms to deal with. I feel your pain...hope they get better for us both soon!!!

I use to have bad allergies when I was younger, but now all of a sudden I got them bad again!  My eyes always itch a water, I sneeze my head off, runny nose, just the works!  Ugh!  It's winter time not allergy time LOL!

Me! Ive always had allergies, but since ive been pregnant they have gotten much worse :(
