hi im almost 6weeks pregnant.
in the last 4days iv experienced light bleeding, started off as a brown spotting.
i went to the ER and the done a pelvic examination and my cervix was closed.
my hCG lvls almost doubled overnight from 1600- 2700. my doc said everything is fine.
its just under 2weeks until my US and im worried as hell atm as i've passed a few blood clots.
i also have minor cramping in my stomach. i no longer have sore breasts. this is my first
pregnancy for my partner and i and we are very scared atm.

please give me any advice. hopefully positive feed back. thanks

If it runs in your family (sorry bad pun), that should make you feel a little better.  That is really good information to know about your Grandma and sister.  Try to focus on that and the positive side. Like the others said, go back to the ER anytime you think you need to or if something changes or gets worse.

Good luck and let us know!

my ER visit was just the other day, i got my hCG levels back 2days ago. My doc said the baby should be fine. its not alot of blood. its very light. My mum had the same thing when she was pregnant with my younger brother and she lost a twin. But my grandma and older sister had the same thing im getting and they have both had normal pregnancies out of it. so im hoping im just like them and its nothing to worry about.

When was your ER visit? If your levels have doubled then you could be ok. If you're still bleeding then you may want to make another trip to the ER just to see where your levels have gone from your last time there. How much blood are we talking about? I've seen some women on here experience blood while pregnant and everything has been ok but it's pretty uncommon. Just take it easy and try to stay positive. I hope everything works out for you and your baby! Keep us posted!
