After my first baby we waited about 4 weeks and it hurt so bad. I had csection and wasn't fully ready like I thought. after my second we waited about 6-7 weeks until I wa cleared. It hurt but no where near as bad as after my first. this one I plan to wait the 6-7 weeks until doctor clears me

We waited until I stopped bleeding and having discharge but we should've waited a little longer because it caused me to start bleeding again. It was about six weeks after baby.

I've heard that if you do it too soon, it can cause infection. I'm 2 1/2 weeks post partum. I've stopped bleeding, so I'm not sure if the infection thing is super likely.

That is completely up to you. It depends on when you feel comfortable and ready too. It's completely different for everyone.
