Am I going to miscarry?

I'm pregnant and I found out a week ago.  Five days later I spotted red.  It wasn't enough to show up in the toilet or my underwear...just the toilet paper. It stopped, but I am still worried.  I called my doctor and because I miscarried 4 months ago he had me come in for some blood tests.  My hcg level was around 420 but my progesterone was low.  I am now taking a natural version of progesterone to help my body get to where it needs to be.  I won't know for another three days if I miscarried.  Is low progesterone a big sign of miscarriage or is there still some hope?  Has anyone gone through anything like this?  I also don't have any real symptoms of pregnany other than a missed period and some slight cramping.  Thank you for your help!

Thank you so much.  I am about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant.  I am just so nervous, but I am trying my hardest to not worry because I don't want to add anymore stress to this little baby.  I'm glad to hear everything is going well with you after being put on progesterone.  That gives me hope.  Thanks again!

It is not uncommon to have slight bleeds in early pregnancy. It may be the baby  burrowing deeper into the uterus lining or it may be a blood clot in uterus coming off. How many weeks are you? I would take rest and not do any physical activity. I too was put on progesterone supplements form week6 till week 12.
Cramping is also normal, its your uterus trying to expand. I am 16 weeks now and still have cramps. Also, I never had any morning sickness or nausea, except for hating a few foods, smells and back pain.  Do relax and do not lift anything heavy, avoid going up and down stairs or any physical stress. I would sit back and watch cartoons or comedies and take care of diet! :) Good luck and lots of sticky baby dust to you!
