Iron pills help. I was told to take them on an empty stomach. My doc has me taking them 2 times a day. I'm not vegetarian but my iron is always really low.
Eat spinach and lentils they are high in iron. Just dont eat anything dairy a hour before or after cause vitamin d dosent allow your body to absorb much iron. You really can't just eat beans you should look up vegetarian recipes. Aslo supplement with collagen the ligaments in meat have collagen. Its been proven that vegetarians tear more during delivery because of low collagen intake.
You can buy iron and take it and it will help if your anemic. It even comes in the form of raw cocoa and you can eat it with a meal
