Anyone committed to a fit pregnancy?

Ever since I found out I was pregnant @ 5wks I've been working out every day for the sake of the baby (improved circulation, lung functioning, etc) & myself (good prep for labor, relieves aches & pains, feels good etc) and I'm in awe. Because I'm not trying to lose weight I hadn't noticed my body changing, but i looked at all my bump selfies from 6 wks to 16 weeks & the diff in tone is crazy!
I was deathly afraid of diastasis rectic (ab separation) so i have avoided jackknife ab workouts but i love bird-dogs, breathing thru ab contractions & planking. So far so good no ab separation.
My current circuit is: 3 sets of 15 pushups, 15 lunges R/L, 15 squats, (2)30 sec planks w/ 20 break btwn each, 15 bird dogs R/L & 15 leg lifts R/L & yoga poses focused on back/pelvic/hip stretching.
Please share what workouts/plans/videos are your go to and how you're staying in shape.
Sidenote: I've had all day sickness since 9 wks which has made it harder to do 3 reps in one go but i do at least 1 set and then lay down & def feel way better for it.

I was a muscle growth workout before getting pregnant, so I cm just changed the direction of exercise. More cardio because I hate cardio more than anything. Since we're hoping for a natural birth I've been doing yoga. It gets harder the bigger you get. I'm at 28 weeks. Yoga birthing squats are easier but regular squats don't work too well for me because of having so much weight in the front. Ibe gained a lot of weight already, but it's mostly in my breasts and butt. I mean they are huge. You can't even tell I'm pregnant from behind, but my belly protrudes more outward than the sides. I think it's all how I carry lol. I try to get to the gym 3 to 4 times a week and yoga at least 5 times a week.  Our baby girl lovessss working out, she kicks and kicks.

Congrats on your baby! What kind of yoga do you do? I'm into yoga, but IDK where to start in terms of a daily circuit. Any suggestions? I love the butterfly pose or unless I'm calling it thr wrong thing, the pose where you squat with your legs spread as wide as possible. I have a retroverted uterus & my baby was pressing on my tailbone something serious. That IMMEDIATELY stopped the pain so I would love a full body stretch that I can do to avoid further aches. Looool my baby girl has started working out too! Always kicking me while i work out now.
Hoping for a natural birth too and sounds like you gained weight in all the best places! I can only imagine with time my workouts will get more difficult as when my all day sickness kicked in, omg. It was so hard to do anything but feel sorry for myself lol let alone work out and I wasnt even showing yet!

Definitely I'm really happy to hear that running a mile is seriously like my favorite accomplishment of working out. Like obviously you know I can see other workouts are getting easier but the other day I decided I wanted to see if I could run past a mile cuz usually I just stopped after a mile and I did a mile and a quarter and the last quarter mile I just had like this huge smile on my face because I felt really accomplished.

So awesome! So proud of you ^_^ I know that this is the one time everyone will forgive me for sitting still and just languishing in what my body is doing, but I really wanted to get fit! It feels so good to see how my body has already changed for the better & this is why I wanted to hear from you ladies because I wouldn't have even thought about hiking or attempting a mile, but now I want to! I feel more confident than ever in myself & what better time to set some reasonable fitness goals so I'll see if that mile happens for me :)
I hope it does happen for you and it will if you keep it up. And exercise can really prepare your body for birth. I had my last one all natural and i think all the walk8ng i did really helped

Hiking will really help you. I couldnt run a mile before hiking but once i started hiking up hills it really go me to control my breathing and boost my stamina. To be fair i use to carry my 23lb son in a hiking baby back pack so thatvwas a 30lb total but since about week 7 i stopped carrying him i dont want to exert my body too much.

I'm sold! Me & baby daddy went on a walk just to walk the dog and I almost passed out. Good on you for toting your boy while hiking o_o! But that convinced me I need to improve my stamina because i would love to be able to run a mile. Super motivating to hear that!

I go to the gym during the week i run a mile straight then do lots of leg workouts i stopped doing ab workouts they were my least favorite anyway haha. I go hiking and i downloaded a pregnancy workout app that i try to do. Ive been lagging it the past couple weeks ive been so busy plus i have 2 kids so its not always easy i either have to do it first thing in the morning or i cant do it.

Wow!kudos to you on that mile run! Thats the one thing my workouts lack, no cardio =/ but I honestly can't be bothered lool. I'm sure your other 2 babies give you a workout also, but I think I'll try a hike! I'm always short of breath -_- so obviously I need to increase my stamina.

Even though i already go to the gym 2 times a week and hike once a week you guys have me motivated for more. I fixed my jogger stroller yesterday the tires have been flat for months ive been using those quick small strollers for stores and stuff. So today after i worked out at the gym for an hour i came home and went for a nice walk with my son on top of it. Keep motivated ladies your bodies will thank you :)

Actually, I started by looking up prenatal yoga and watched some videos, then I found this book called the yogabirth and it's great. They have many poses for you to try. There's another book called yoga naps for restorative relaxation. Just picked them up from the library because I didn't want to pay for them. I love butterflys. They feel so great.

I definitely have to check my library out now. Idk why I didnt think of that because the internet makes you think you'll never need to step foot in a library again but i bet they have all sorts of pregnancy and birth related resources. Thanks!
