Oh, also, possibly a rocking chair with gliders for chair and footstool -- I didn't use ours very much, but a lot of people do.
Also, more pragmatic things like breast pads (catch the drips when you're experiencing let-down of milk), nursing bras, burp rags, baby washcloths, and a box of Dreft or other baby-recommended laundry soap.
Crib and mattress (which, surprisingly, are bought separately); you never get these from a shower. Arms-Reach basinette if you are wanting one. One of those curved table-top pads for changing the baby. Bunches of diapers and boxes of wipes. A bottle sterilizer and bottles and nipples. A breast pump. A photo album.
At the shower you will get an abundance of blankets, hats, and cute clothes. My mom laughed when she handed me a gift from a friend and I opened it and said, "Oh. Another hat." She had knitted about ten hats herself and hadn't realized how overloaded we were, and I only used about two of them for my son before he outgrew them all.
A place for baby to sleep. A car seat. Any cute outfits you run across that you have to have. A place to put baby clothes. I'm sure you will get a diaper bag but it might be nice choosing the one that fits you. You can never have too many socks.
